Unable to Scan 40 char barcode in 48 x 76mm size

Hi all

We have designed a 40 character 3 of 9 bar code label in adobe forms .The label page size is 48 x 76 mm.

Now we are unable to scan it on printing on the actual label size. If we zoom it to  more than 150 % and print on a paper ,then the scanner is able to scan it.

On analyzing it ,we found that the lines are getting merged in the label print in the original size.

Is there any way to change the X dimension in adobe forms.

The check sum is none and wide/narrow ratio is set to 3 .

Is there any way to achieve this?

Also if someone could explain the exact purpose of check sum and wide narrow ratio then it might be helpful.
