Hi,
I am designing an Adobe form, which contain several fields. Many of the are having multiple line items.
My problem is that, the data in my form is not flowing to next page.
I have taken every content inside subforms and all of them are FLOWED.
I have also selected ALLOW MULTIPLE LINES. But in spite of doing all efforts, data is not flowing to the next page.
Can somebody please help me in this scenario? Let me know what needs to be done to flow the data to next page.

I am using JAvascript in my ADOBE form and my requirement is to check the date of birth entered by the user.
The date should be < current date and the calculated age on current date should be >= 18 years.

In this header and row both are dynamic.
My problem is i have created header subform as flowed which is displaying correct data on first page but not on overflow page.

Hi group,
I need to look into modifying our W2 pdf to include text changes to Box 12DD . I have to add a condition by reading certain wage types. To this end, I would be copying the original W2 form to a Z version. Since I am new to adobe forms, I am finding it difficult to add an abap code to make this changes (unlike sapscripts). I read that either formcalc or javascript can be used to make any such changes to the form. Is this correct?

Apologies if the choice of forum is incorrect. I came across a requirement which expects a form designed using Adobe ES 4.0. It is a service entry check-list. after the form is filled, the user will Submit it and its data should be stored in SAP.
Can anyone guide how to achieve this? I Googled for considerable amount of time, but did not come across anything that could help in this context.

We have a webdynpro application calling Adobe form and is working fine .when we click on a button in webdynpro, Adobe form is called,and user enters the values and is saved.
Now there is a requirement to develop a ABAP screen(with Push buttons) from which the webdynpro ADOBE has to be directly called.
More clearly, If i click the push button in ABAP screen ,the Adobe has to be called directly( not the screen in webdynpro) and user will enter values
All user actions like ovs , drill down should be allowed and saved.
Is this possible and if yes, please guide me on how to achieve this functionality.

Hi All,
We are using our enterprise portal for ADS. Everytime we restart the system, the FontManagerService_native.zip file is becoming empty, file is existing, but size is "0", in the /usr/sap/SID/JC<sys#>/j2ee/os_libs.
There is a workaround we can perform everytime we encounter this, but we feel that this shouldn't be a normal behaviour of the system.
Do anyone encounters the same scenario? Please advise how did you resolve this. Thanks.

Apologies as a similiar post was asked in another forum a year or two ago, with no resolved solution. I wanted to post here as I felt more appropriate and could be useful for others.
Within HCM P&F Im trying to create a hiring action, the user will not specify PERNR value on the form as I want the backend to generate this value from the internal number range. It would seem the sample scenarios like SHU1, SHI1 have PERNR bound to a form field element - so it appears the only samples SAP provide require a specification of external number.
I have tried removing PERNR from my backend SAP_PA creation service, still same issue.My backend services for the SAP_PA creation, in sequence (note no 0000 as I expect framework will do this as setting MASSN/MASSG):

0006 1 Create
0007 Create
0016 Create
0019 Create
0050 Create
Any help from someone who has successfully created a hire process without having to specify pernr would be gratefully received.

I have created a table, which have the following subforms.
MaterialBody ( Type -Flow Content & Flow direction - Table )
- Header ( Type - Flow Content & Flow direction - Table row )
- Data ( Type - Flow Content & Flow direction - Table row )
In the output of my form i see all the records in table format, but my header is not visible on all the pages.
The header is visible only on the first page.
Can anyone suggest, why the header is not visible on every page. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
we are configuring the ADS and are unsuccesful. Here are the details:
-The Java instance (NW 70 SPS18) is installed on a seperate instance.
-The ERP 6.0 instance is ABAP only (NW70 SP15).
-OS is Solaris 10 64bit (supports ADS 32 bit acccording to the PAM),
-DB is Oracle 10.2
The RFC connection from ABAP to Java is working (HTTP 302 is returned)
The J2EE Destination is working (Error 404 is received but this is Ok accoding to manual)
The FP_PDF_TEST_00 program returns the version number of the ADS
The FP_TEST_00, FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE (with and without RFC destionation) and FP_CHECK_HTTP_DATA_TRANSFER (with and without RFC destionation) all crash with the same error. This is also logged in the Default Trace of the Java instance:
"CORBA Connection to XMLForm failed, please verify the binaries are deployed to the os_libs directory and that the XML Form Module service is started". You may be running on a non-supported platform.

couldn't set locale correctly
The binaries are there however. When executing the XMLFom.exe from the shell using sidadm it returns pretty much the same errors as listed above. It's looking for the files in /bin/ instead of /usr/sap/<SID>/JC##/j2ee/os_libs/adssap/XMLFormService/bin but this could be that your not supposed to run the script from the command prompt.
interestingly enough, the generated PDF error files are ok. And in the PDF the message is "no errors reported".
I've renamed the adssap folder as suggested in some forums and the folder was regenerated. However, it made no difference.
I've configured ADS quite a few times now, but never ran into this. It seems to be an OS related problem, but I could use some help resolving it.

Error: com.sap.engine.services.webservices.espbase.server.additions.wsa.WSAddressingException: com.sap.SOA.wsr.030104 - Expected request method POST. Found GET.
Wizard Configuration for Adobe Document Services was completed without errors
I have done the User verification as stated by SAP Help and it returned Adobe Version as expected
Procedure
Also verified all Services and they are Running
Any idea if on Netweaver 7.4 this URL changed or how can I access ADS?

Previously our users has IE10, then 4 pages my_form used to take just 10 seconds for rendering.
2 days ago they got installed IE10 in their machines, now the same form is taking 3 min.!!!

Adobe Reader XI and Adobe LifeCycle Designer ES4 are installed.

I got an issue with working in Drop-down list in dynamic subforms which are created at runtime on click event in adobe reader 8.0.I could not see the possible entries in the drop down list. If the same dynamic subform is used in Adobe reader 9.0, i am to view all the possible entries in the drop down list with out any issues. This scenario is purely offine by working in Live cycle designer. Please Advice.

Scenario: Adobe Form in ABAP (not WebDynpro), we created a form and we are calling the Function Module (FM) associated to this form from an ABAP program. Two parameter, one to populate main table data, one for dropdown values.
The PDF form has a table embeded within a subform (drag and drop from hierarchy view to subform). The amount of records in the table will depend on the input table that is passed from the ABAP program.
To populate the dropdown we are using the following code written in the initialize command:

The problem is that we are doing main table loop for each attribute. we have one column where the dropdown are displayed, the values are the same, we do the second loop for each one.
the form table is displayed as follows:

All the dropdowns have the same values, but I cannot find a way to do it without looping the DROPDOWN_TABLE each time.
Is there any way to just instance one dropdown element and then assign or copy the values to the other dropdowns and skip the loop?
Is it possible to dismiss the outside loop by putting the dropdown (and all attributes) initialization inside the initialization of the table?
