Is it possible to convert a pdf form to a Smartforms form or sapscript form?
Reason is because for some new pdf forms like IDCN_CASHFLOW there is no proper form in Smartforms or Sapscript available.
2nd reason is customer does not have an ADS installed.

How to hide marked border in sap adobe forms.
Dear all,
We are doing a conversion of a sapscript print form to a new adobe form.
In a specific standard text we have the euro symbol under the form of <156> which gives you the € symbol at print-out time. (not in preview mode)
We have now included this standard text in our new adobe form but the € symbol disappeared.
Any ideas?

Dear All, We have configured ADS in DEV and QAS it is working fine. We have done the same configuration in PRD but it is giving the following error when we execute the program FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE: SYSTEM ERROR: ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adobe.ProcessingException: XMLFM Exception during render: org.omg.CORBA.COMM_FAILURE(200,101). I have a requirement to hide a text field while printing in offline adobe form . I have added the below script editor
code using FormCalc language

The text field is still getting printing on the form . Does prePrint event works in SAP Adobe forms ?

Hi Experts,
I really need your help. I need to hide a column in a UI table element based on certain criteria. I've successfully done that, however, there is now a gap where that column resided. Is it possible to "condense" the columns together to remove that gap and if so how?

Hi gurus, I have configured ADS on DEV&PRD servers where the FP_TEST_00, FP_PDF_TEST_00 checks are successful. But when I tried executing HCM T-Code PC00_M40_EPF, PDF files are generated for march month only. "no job started" is the reply when tried executing same T-Code for the months of 2,4,5.

I am working on PDF using interactive forms (tcode : SFP). I need to add table with more than 30 columns in it but system is allowing maximum 20 columns to be added. Can anyone please help me with this?

I am facing some issues with the ADS configuration. I checked all the programs (FP_TEST_00 and FP_PDF_TEST_00) and i keep getting into this error:
Error Code: 100.101
Error Message: SOAP Runtime Exception: CSOAPExceptionTransport : HTTP receive failed with exception communication_failure.
I also checked the ADS connection and i get the following error:
ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED
I am not sure why this issue comes up, but would appreciate any thoughts/comments.
I have gone through the Adobe Configuration documentation multiple times and have also looked at the following SAP notes, but to no avail.

We developed a Web DynPro ABAP, say Z_WDA, it has Adobe Interactive Form as UI element with 4 pages, working well, I mean, users are filling the data and submitting well, fine
(Pls. note its a Interactive form)
But, now our company gave iPads to some users, hence pls. suggest us,
1) Does these users can render & submit the form (Z_WDA) as usual? or
2) Do I need to make any changes in Z_WDA so that it will be compatible, render & submit the form in their iPads? or
3) Users has to change the settings in their iPad?

Hi all,
I have a big problem with the page break of a nested table. I am not able to let the inner table evoke an page break when it is necessary. It even overlays my content area! So generally the form I am developing is an order confirmation.
On each position (outer table) i have to print the schedule lines of this position (inner table). this inner table can get very large.
I searched the whole internet for this:
I tried various pagination options.
Turned my inner table into a subform.
"Allow page breaks within content" are all checked.
No success.
I am using lifecycle designer ES3 Version 10.4.0.20121103.1.882846
The attached screenshot visualizes the problem. I have as well attached the XDP and XFD.XML File.
The XDP file is named xdp.xml because SCN does not allow do upload filetype *.xdp 
Just rename it to something.xdp and lifecycle designer should be able to open it.
The inner table is named "SCHEDULE_LINES" and is nested within table "ITEM_DETAIL" which is represented as a subform.

I have a requirement to print the Footer address on every Page. As of now I am printing the footer address fields in the Master pages as static ( Fixed position ). I have declared text fields. In case any of the field is missing then automatically the next field should take the above field place. I mean there should not be an empty place if that field is not printing.
For example :
Name: ABC
Tel: 1234
Fax: 1234
Email : abc@xyz.com
As I have declared it as static text fields, in case of any field is not printing, the empty space would be printed. But I wanted the next field to move up so that empty sapce is not printed in the layout.
For example in case above TEL is mising the output should be as below.
Name: ABC
Fax: 1234
Email : abc@xyz.com
To achieve this I have created an internal table with one coloumn and tried to print. But somehow its not printing.
Can anyone help me out in achieving the same?

I have created a form which has data on odd pages and some terms and condition on the back pages(even) pages. I am using Adobe Livecycle Designer ES version 8.1.2
For this I created 4 Master pages.
FirstPage - Pagination -> Odd/Even - > Odd (front) pages
Placement -> First Page (in Page set)
Front Page - Pagination -> Odd/Even - > Odd (front) pages
Placement -> Rest of pages
BackPage - Pagination -> Odd/Even - > Even (Back) pages
Placement -> Rest of pages
Dummy - Pagination -> Odd/Even - > Blank page
I dragged the content area of back page on the dummy page.
This set up works fine for printing.
I have additional requirement of archiving, emailing and faxing. While sending a email or fax or archiving, the data should be continuous, the 'BackPage' master page should be removed otherwise they show in alternate pages as blank pages even if i set the presence property to 'visible(print only)' .
Are there any settings which can be done to remove the master pages that are not needed based on a codition. Or can we achieve it through scripting.

I am aware that ADS is used in adobe forms display and designing, but I just wanted to know if we can use adobe forms just to display payslips in PDF as SAP releases HR forms only to be designed using Form builder and not smart forms which in turn can be designed by Adobe life cycle designer only.
Please recommend the method to use Adobe forms in ABAP stack if there is any possibility.

I have 2 pages in my adobe form, Page 2 is only to print the instructions on the last page.
On page 1 i have a table to overflow on multiple pages, on the last page (Page 2) i need to print the instructions.
1st page -- Odd Page, No Placement Restrictions
2nd Page -- Even Page, only on last page
In the content area 'MAIN' of the first page, i have a body page.
Under the body page i create a subform table.
Under subform table i have a table.
Properties of body page: flowed
Allow page breaks within content
Place: Following Previous
After: Continue filling current
Pagination,Overflow: Go to content area MAIN
Properties of sub form: flowed
Allow page breaks within content
Place: Following Previous
After: Continue filling current
Pagination,Overflow: Go to content area MAIN
Binding: IT_ITEMS
Properties of header row: flowed
Allow page breaks within content
Place: Following Previous
After: Continue filling current
Include HeaderRow in the intial page

The issue is the data is the table is not overflowing. it is only printing the first page.

I have a table which will have 4 rows only.I want to color the text of the first row in RED, 2nd in Yellow and 3rd in Green. How can read the table record dynamically and set the color? i mean What should be the scripting code to read the row number to set the color. I know i can create a table with 4 static rows and at each individual cell i set the color as per the need.But i am trying to access the row dynamically to set the color. Pls Help.

My problem is one of the most basic you can get: I have an object on a master page and I want to change it's X coordinate dynamically.
Apparently this should be pretty simple:
$.x = "100mm"
in FormCalc
or
this.x = "100mm"
in JavaScript
placed in the form:layout event should do it.
However, despite trying different events, it simply won't work.
Changing the width property "w" DOES work.
I was already told that my form should be saved as dynamic, and I changed the preview properties accordingly, but still I do not see any result.
Do you have any idea on what I am doing wrong?
This should be pretty simple to test, but I'll give more details if it's not clear enough.
