PDF form is corrupted in print mode. In preview mode is OK.

Hi gurus,

 

I'm facing a problem that I don´t know how to solve. I couldn't find where exactly the problem is taking place.

 

I have an Adobe Form for printing an invoice. But sometines, when I print it, the resulting PDF is corrupt and the Adobe Reader is not able to open the file, saying that is corrupt.

 

However, If I print in preview mode, the PDF is always fine and I have no problems to open it.

 

As far as I saw, the binary content of the PDF is not exactly the same between preview and real print.

 

Have you ever faced an issue like that?

Layout in SFP Tcode not working.

Hi Experts,

 

I have installed SAP ECC 6.0 with SAP GUI 720 release .

I want to design a Adobe form , when am trying the Layout tab in the form design am getting an error

"Could not start Layout Designer (see long text)".

Then i installed Adobe LiveCycle designer ES 2 from Adobe site .

After that also am getting the same error

Please tell me how to configure Adobe LiveCycle designer ES 2 on my SAP GUI in details.

Subform not flowing according to line item data

Hi Expert,

 

 

I have developed an adobe form which contain multiple subform. One subform contain line item data and below that there is a subform containing few fields which should come after all line items got printed. But, now it is not working like that, the second subform has been constant irrespective of line item data in first subform. Can you please suggest how to make the subform dynamic so that it will automatically get placed after line item get printed.

 

 

Any code snippet will be really helpful.

Data not flowing in next page instead creating new page in Adobeforms

Hi Friends,

 

I have Adobe form with two Pages.

 

Page 1 has multiple tables and Page 2 has Input Fields, so when data overflows in Page 1 it should overflow into Page 2 Pushing all the Input fields on Page 2 down.

 

But for me once the data is getting over flowed in Page 1 a New Page is created dynamically and table data is filled in New Page then remaining space is blank and my Page 2 is displayed. So how to achieve this.

How to change the design view size dynamically in adobe form

Hi All,

 

     How to change the design view size (height) in adobe form.Basically my requirement is below:

 

I want to print tax invoice using adobe form like below scenario

 

Page 1                                 Page 2

 

Header1                               Header1

 

Header2                               Item data


Item data

 

 

So in this scenario design view (item data) height or start position need to change dynamically.

 

Please help me on this.

SAP Smartform Fonts Problem Inside Webdynpro Java Iframe

Hi All.

 

We are calling backed smartform inside webdynrpo java by using Iframe UI element.

 

We can able to load the smartform, but we are unable to reflect the same fonts from smartforms at the time of run time, but we can able to see the desire fonts when we run the smartforms from ECC side.

 

We are using SAP Newtweaver Portal 7.3, NWDS 7.3, Adobe Lifecycle Designer 10.2, Adobe Reader XI wilth Backend ECC 6.0 EHP4

 

Please anyone help me on solving the fonts reflecting smartforms fonts issues in WDJ.

Hide 1 of 3 header row

Hi experts.

Maybe you can help me.

 

I have table:

Header

  -header_row_1

  -header_row_2

  -header_row_3

Body

Footer

 

On same pages i need to hide "header_row_1". Is it possible?.

I tried to do this:

 

data.Table.Table.Header.Table4.ActRow::ready:layout - (FormCalc, client)

 

var pg = xfa.layout.page( ref($) )

if ( pg == 1 or pg == 3 or pg == 5 or pg == 7 or pg == 9 or pg == 11 or pg == 13 ) then

Almost its works. But a have FREE space then i hide row.

I am getting the following error in Adobe forms

I have created a WSDL link. Also data binding is done. But still form doesn't get opened .

 

Once i click on the button mails should be sent. Mails are delilvered in SOST but adobe form as an attachment is not opening. It throws an error as shown in the screenshot.

 

Please reply as soon as possible.

Unable to generate Interactive Forms with usage rights

Dear Experts,

  The organization I work for is trying to implement SAP Adobe Forms for the first time. The challenge I have is that the test forms we are generating are not having the Interactive feature on Computers with Adobe Acrobat Reader(The form fields are Not ready for Input - even for standard SAP programs like FP_TEST_03 ).

  I have installed the reader rights credentials P12 file provided by SAP but im still experiencing the issue. I also restarted the two services - document services trust manager and PDF manipulation module - low encryption. Also, after the form is output the following message is coming - 'This document enabled extended features in Adobe Acrobat DC. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document'

  Please advise, apart from the reader rights credentials file not being installed, what other factors can cause these forms to be Non Interactive. What else can I check for to properly diagnose and rectify this issue.

PDF's corrupted in massive Adobe Forms generation

Hi gurus,

 

In one of our customers, we are facing an issue that we don´t know how to solve.

 

We've created an Adobe form for SD invoices, and we have a job to generate all the PDF files from the invoices. The process works fine in most of the cases, but we've noticed that some of those PDF files are corrupted and unable to be opened via Adobe Reader.

 

The strange thing is that when we reprocess that invoices, and generate the PDF again, it's correct.

 

So my question is, there is some issue when printing adobe forms massively?

Translations are not working second time in Adobe forms

Hi,

 

I have developed Adobe form in english language. As per my client requirement i need to translate the form into multiple languages. I have used SE63 but first time its working whenever i changed the text in form layout again i go to translation modified translation are not reflecting in target Language. i have used both SE63 and form -> Goto translations method same issue i am getting in both methods. Any other way to do translations for adobe forms other than these two methods(SE63 and Manual translations of Form). Any one please give a usefull replay for my post. I am not intrested to use SE63 translations.

Fields do not move up when its preceding field is blank.

Hi,

 

I have a  "positioned" subform to display Address.  This Address is of 3 lines one below the other ( in the center of the page).

 

                     Line1

                     Line2

                     Line3

 

This entire subform is embedded in a "flowed" subform.


Line 2 will be blank in most of the cases. If Line 2 is blank, I need to move Line 3 up. I have a code in place for Line2 shown below.

 

if (this.rawValue == null || this.rawValue == ''){

     this.presence = "hidden";

}

 

But this does'nt move the Line 3 up.  I don't see any other options to make this work.

 

Appreciate help on this.

Trouble with field output conversion when activating the Adobe Forms

Hi everybody,

 

I'm facing an issue very strange.

 

I made an interactive form for a customer which is based on abap dictionnary and send by e-mail to user. This form works fine and is in Production system .

Now i made an evolution on this form and when i activate the forms in SAP , all the field conversion are lost so when i got the form Date fields appears with 00000000 if they are empty.

To solved this issue in Development system , i delete the form and recreate it and that's have been sold .

Now this issue appears in Quality system also after transport it...so i try to do the same way to solve it ...i create one transport order where the forms is deleted and another one to recreate it ..but the issue still alive.

 

I search on OSS and don't find any notes for this .

 

This issue also appears on aonther forms which is not interactive one ( purchase order printout ) .

I work on ECC 6.0 with AdobeLifeCycle Designer ES 2

 

Does anybody face this issue and solved it ?

Dropdown for a table column in Interactive Adobe Form

Dear Experts,

 

Require your guidance in enabling dropdown values for a column in a table in Adobe Form. The table is prefilled with some data.

Have created the value table and assigned it to the Node attribute of the required field in the WDA context. But on the click of the dropdown, no data is displayed.

icons in adobeforms

Hi,

 

i need to display a table in adobe forms ,in one column of the table i have to show icons (Ex: green ,red,yellow) dynamically

 

i wrote some logic and i moved the icon to the filed of table but it's showing its value not an icon.

 

Please somebody help on this.

Save a pdf output as powerpoint presentation

Hi Experts,

 

I do have a requirement wherein the customer wants a ppt output of a form.That is when the user clicks on the button to print the pdf form he/she should get the pdf form converted to ppt and downloaded to his/her local machine.

Header text following the data in the form should not split if it at end of a page

Hi Everyone,

 

I have a scenario, where I have 10 subform, each having header text and following by descriptions and in form of a table data. When there is end of one sub form and other form starts at the end of the page it breaks into 2.

 

But requirement is that when the header text is at the end of the page then it  should go to the next page with the following data.

Hello experts,

 

 

I have the requirement to print a document which can have multiple pages, overflowing to be exact. The problem is each page needs to be printed on blue, green, red paper.

 

So if the printout would be 3 pages it would need to print:

- Page 1 for blue

- Page 1 for green

- Page 1 for red

- Page 2 for blue

- Page 2 for green

- Page 2 for red

- Page 3 for blue

- Page 3 for green

- Page 3 for red

 

You can think of an CMR document, but this needs to foresee multiple pages.

Is there an option in Adobe Forms to mandatory print each page several times? Or how could we achieve this programmatically?

Collate copies in Adobe Form.

Hello,

 

i'm disigning an Adobe Form. Everything but one requirement is done.

The requirement is about the way of printing.

I think that with an example is better to explain.

 

Example 1. Only need one copy of formular . The result will be the next.

 

Page1  Page2  Page3 .....

 

Example 2. Whe need 2 copies of the formular. The result would be the next.

 

Page1 Page1 Page2 Page2 Page3 Page3 ......

 

Example 3. We need N copies of the formular. The result would be the next.

 

Page1 Page1 Page1(N times)  Page2 Page2 Page2(N times)  Page3 Page3 Page3(N times) ........

 

 

Is this possible to manage in the formular?
