Iam creating a PO form wherein iam supposed to only display maximum three lines of item text which is a text field.I know that checking the allow multiple lines option would let the lines continue if there are more than 1 line.But how can I restrict the number of lines that can be displayed. Any solution?

I have 2 subforms in my form, 1 with flowed layout and the other with positioned layout.
The one with the flowed layout can change in height depending on some conditions.
I need to assign the height of the flowed layout to the one with the positioned layout.
Is there any way of achieving this (ex. using JavaScript)?

Dear experts,
I am developing Adobe-form with interface type of "smart forms-compatible interface"
there is one system field structure SFSY which contain fields like SFSY-PAGE/SFSY-DATE/SFSY-TIME etc...
when I use that field in form designer the current date "SFSY-DATE" is showing but Page number "SFSY-PAGE" showing zero for all pages.

I'm developing an interactive form on CRM, I'm getting the following BSP error o the popup window that should display the PDF:
The following error text was processed in the system: Message E FPRUNX 001 cannot be processed in plugin mode HTTP
- The form was working, I've been modifying the scripting and activating the form. All I'm getting now is the error.
- I've already did the step proposed on the note 944221, I tested all but I'm still getting the error.
- I commented the JS code I did, I even copied the XML source from the original source and the error persists.
Any help is appreciated.

I'm using a textfield in a table to display data in a non-interactive Adobe form. I've set the field to RTF text and I'm pushing dynamically retrieved text into it. I'm not getting any formatting interpreted by the textfield, even using XHTML formatting (ul, li, p tags) nor by using RTF formatting (

}). I'm passing all information into the textfield by means of a string variable.
I couldn't clearly find this in SAP nor in Adobe (even though guru Thomas Jung made a reference to a link Inserting a Text - SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe - SAP Library where sap script is supposed to be used). Do I have to pass another type of variable to this field - like a sap script table instead of a string?

I have pdf form generation problem in the web browser mozilla with Portal 7.3
I developed a simple non interactiveform using webdynpro java, i used ALD 9.8 ,Abore Reader XI, Mozilla in Windows 7 32 bit OS.
In my screen i have a DDBI along with a Generate Button below an InteractiveForm UI element, initially InteractiveForm UI is in Invisible mode
As soon as i select a record and click on generate button i will call backend rfc and get data then generate adobeform
When i am trying generate pdf form first time it is ok, when i change another record from DDBI and generate new document that time
i am facing proble is that new pdf for is not generating, back end server round trip is continuing rather than generating new updated document.
Note: This Problem is not coming in IE.

We have an adobe form where, on the last page a BIG footer gets displayed.
Now if the number of line items are not enough, they wont go till the last page, but the last would still be printed with no line items, just to accomodate the huge footer that we want to be displayed only on the last page.
Now in doing this, we want that if there are no line items on the last page, the item header should not be displayed. We are not sure how do we do this.
The same is accomplished in SAP Script, and there they are using WRITE_FORM with type DELETE. So anything that prints after that even on a new page, the item header wont get printed.
Please suggest how do we do this in Adobe Forms.

Dear All,
I got error "ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adobe.Processin(200101)", when click print preview on Candidate overview which it is an error only one candidate of candidate pool.
I checked on data it looks fine but when click print preview it display error message "Error when generating the form for the data overview". I checked the PDF generate function on this candidate, I got error "ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adobe.Processin(200101)".
At first, I thought it is ADS error but it is error only on this candidate. This is weired.
Please suggest. I checked on SLG1 and I got this error which is the same I found on PDF function but don't know how to fix it.

The 2 first attached images show the exception text and the 3rd one shows the code line that text refers to in 1st image.

I want to create a new text field in PDF. The area is coming in the master page. I have entered the text in the master page but after when i execute the form i am not able to see that text. Also there are other text which were already there. I have also tried changing that but still the changes are not getting reflected when i execute the form.
I have got ALCD 7.1 version.

We are using SAP Adobe Print forms to create a business document. This is designed using Adobe Life Cycle Designer (ALD). The form is displayed in Chinese language. The requirement is to display captions for few fields in bold.
When designing the form we have put the caption as BOLD but when the actual form is generated only few characters are displayed in bold.
I am not sure if this is problem with Adobe Reader or should there be any specific fonts to be installed in the ADS server?
Please let me know which all font packs needs to be installed in the local machine?

I have a table which is being displayed on my page (see picture underneath).
When a second page is needed, I want to print the header (= overflowLeader) on the following page.
Even with these properties (look picture underneath) he is still not showing the header (since header is declared separate from Data?).
Any ideas how to solve this issue?

Hi,
I have an offline adobe form developed using a web service. This web service is created from the function module and has import, export and table parameters.
When this offline adobe form calls the web service by passing import parameters, the web service returns export parameters and table parameters.
Table has data in it (4 rows for particular test data). Number of table rows will vary depending on import parameters.
I have issue displaying these table rows on adobe form.
1. When I do following setting, it displays all (4) rows but table rows are now fixed to 10.
Here, Item_Sub is "Flowed". IT_PLMK table has binding for web service table parameter. "item" rows have binding for web service table parameter and has following set up.
It displays following output. You will notice blank rows (total 10 - 4 = 6) as we have set up Min count rows = 10.My problem is that I do not want to display these blank rows. How can I do that?
2. I also tried to not specify Min count = 10, but then it does not display any rows with same set up for subform and table bindings.
Any help will be appreciated.

Scenario is we have a From submitted by Initiator and it reaches to approver UWL in Display mode , he can only approve and reject the form.
Issue: In adobe interactive form we have a table with drop down list with 3 or 4 columns each has input in form of dropdown.
Initiator updates the values in 3 rows of table with different values and submits the form.
Approver opens the form till now all the values are sae in special_data table of form. But as soon approver approve/reject the form all the rows in table with drop down gets duplicated from 1st row.
Can anyone try to give any advice where actually this might be happening.

I am new to adobe forms i have problem where in the page layout of the adobe form i have a table within a sub form if the table is having data there is no issue, but if it is not having any data the table is not visible but adds an blank page at the end of the adobe form on display. I have gone through many posts where using using script it can be controlled but i could not understand how the script is been written accessing the sub form path and table value condition. Any link for writing form calc script containing information on accessing sub forms will be of great help.
