ZForm only opens is 'read only" mode - but WDR_TEST_ADOBE, runs fine

Dear readers,

 

I am working on an Adobe form, now ZForm only opens is 'read only" mode - but when i run WDR_TEST_ADOBE, it runs fine and it is interactive and I am able to click on the buttons.

 

I compared the form from WDR_TEST_ADOBE, and changed the layout to ZC1, and run the Web dynpro script. After activating and running the webdynpro, I see that it is still acting strange and none of the input fields are accepting input.

 

There seems to be nothing wrong with the ADS or live cycle designer.

 

Some setting in my Webdynpro is preventing this form from being displayed correctly.

When I attach the form - "WDR_TEST_ADOBE_SIMPLE" from the WD - WDR_TEST_ADOBE, and test my WD, The form is being displayed as read only.

 

which again leaves to the conclusion that the something is not right in the WD.

Adobe LiveCycle Designer 11.0 with AveryDennison printer MLI language problem

Hello,

 

We are using the SAP software which calls the SAP ME, and we downloaded the version Adobe LiveCycle Designer 11.0 from SAP support portal and use it for design our production label templates. Our printer type is called Avery Dennison, and it works in generally. But recently we got a requirement for a new label template. For this template we are asked to use some special font type, and we can design it in the Designer, and after that we tried the label printing, with the option Configuration File zebra300dpi - and in the Avery Dennison printer we setup the printer language as MLI. We tried to print but we realized the special font cannot be sent from Adobe LiveCycle Designer to this printer, because the label coming out from the printer always has the font Arial.

Do you have any idea whether I need upgrade anything to have the Adobe LiveCycle Designer support some special fonts to this kind of Avery Dennison printers?

 

PS - We tried another label designer tool, and from this designer side we also set the print language as zebra, and printed the label which contains the special font successfully, which means the Avery Dennison printer with MLI language support the special fonts other than the Arial.

Webdynpro screen hangs when interactive form UI element is used

Hi Experts,

 

We used interactive form with webdynpro application, we are using a interactive form UI element and  Button in the webdynpro screen.

when form is enabled the form,we can edit the form and working fine but when we move cursor to the webdynpro button on the same screen it shows wait(processing symbol).

we tried with unchecked the enable  in interactive UI element then form is not loading but button is working fine there.

ZEBRA printing: ADOBE form rotate 90 degree using job profile

Hello Experts,

 

I have developed one ADOBE form; now I have an urgent requirement that, during printing the form should be rotate 90 degree.

NOTE: For zebra printing, the .XDC file used ia zpl203.xdc. I found one SAP note 1522819 to flip the printing 180 degree using existing job profile and the simple xml coding for that as follows:

Now I tried to rotate 90 degree using custom job profile BUT could not found the exact code to write into my custom job profile?

 

 

 

Any helpful/correct answers really appreciated!

Read Table data in off line interactive Adobe Form

Hi All,

 

I have searched few links in SDN & solved some issues.

Now I was stuck up in reading table data.

I searched and implemented the below logic but still not able to read the table data.

So could you please let me know where I did a mistake.

 

This is all Off Line Interactive form.

Can we read table data from adobe forms  using java script, and that internal table data convert into csv and download it?

 

is this possible in javascript? or should we have any alternative ways to come over with solution.

Accessing the context variables in adobe forms

Hi Guys,

             I need a simple advice, Here is my scenario, I have a variable GV_XYZ part of my context in adobe forms. And in Page1-SUBFORM1 (Path)

i am trying to access it without binding it to any element.

 

 

So I am using the following javascript.

 

if ($.gv_xyz.rawValue == "X")

{

this.presence = "hidden";

}

 

end of the day the purpose is to hide the subform, which works perfectly if i dont have the if statement. It is a simple problem but can not figure out what is that i am doing wrong here?

 

also tried this.

var gv_abc;

gv_abc = xfa.record.gv_xyz.rawValue;

if(gv_abc == "X ")

{

this.presence = "hidden";

}

still no luck.

ADS with SOAP error

Dear All,

 

We are facing an issue related to ADS after the upgrade of our Portal(NW7.0 to NW7.3) & ECC(ECC6.0 to ECC EHP6). Before the upgrade the ADS & ADS_HTTPS connection was working fine and we were able to download digital signature pdf successfully. After the upgrade we setup ADS with SSL using SOAP certificates but when we were trying to do a connection test using program - FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE we are getting below error also when we try to download the digital signature pdf from tcode PC00_M40_F16 it says "0 Bytes Transferred".

 

When we are trying to test this report it is using the "Guest" user id don't know why. The same error we got in QAS system but there the Guest user id was locked so we just unlocked the user id and the connection and downloading of PDF files done well. But in DEV system the "Guest" user is already unlocked.

Use group separator for barcode in Adobe Forms

Hi gurus,

 

I have an issue with a label created in Adobe Forms.

I am using the barcode Code128SSCC and I have to use the group separator ASCII(29) when the quantity variable is smaller than 8 digits.

 

I have tried a lot of variants of doing this, but nothing with success until now. The scanner is not reading the group separator at all.

 

Can you please give me an idea?

I have a requirement that I need to make a string value(half) bold for  adobe form dynamically .

 

Example : My scenario is like this

 

  String : Bangalore,Karnataka.

 

I want to make string as Bangalore,Karnataka.

How to insert subforms in a table

Hi everyone and Happy New Year!

 

I need to change number of columns in the itemtable of the account statement (F140_ACC_STAT_01).

 

I found it easier to create a new table identical to the oirginal except for the columns. But I ran into a problem.

 

The original table contains subforms (used for "carry forward") and that is my problem. Tried this and that without success so -

 

How do I insert the missing subforms in my table?

Hello Experts,

 

I'm creating a Webdynpro java Application with an Interactive Form.

 

I set the InteractiveForm Property with these values:

- dataSource: I bind a Context Node (cardinality 1..1)

- mode: updateDataInPdf

- pdfSource: I bind a Context attribute 'pdfSource' (binary type)

- templateSource: I set with a file.xdp stored in /src/configuration/Components/<componentName>/file.xdp

 

I can edit my Interactive form, but I cannot save my editing (the save button remains always disabled) .

 

Am I missing something??

Problem with Chinese characters while developing an ADOBE form.

Hello Experts,

 

I am trying to create an  Adobe form which contains both Chinese and English characters (Text elements and Text Fields).

I also have a sample adobe form which contains the Chinese characters.

The issue is when I create text items on adobe form and try to copy the Chinese text in this text item there is some garbage value shown.

How to display Chinese characters on Adobe forms (text items and also in text fields).

 

Any help will be highly appreciated.
