Hi,

I have an interactive PDF form in which i am showing a standard text from SO10. I have used a Smart style for this element.

However, the formatting doesn't happen for the text when is set the SFPDOCPARAMS-FILLABLE="X". I need the FILLABLE to be "X" as i need to save the data.

If i try the form using SFPDOCPARAMS-FILLABLE = " " or "N", the formatting works correctly.

Has anyone faced this issue?

I have one question. I configured Adobe Document Services on our NW04s EP SPS13.  At first I configured ADS for Basic Authentication. It worked fine for HTTP access but of course  NOT for HTTPS access. So I configured ADS for SSL. Now if try to open generate some PDF form (within a Web Dynpro application) , the message "500 Internal Server Error...“ is displayed in IE window and following record appears in defaultTrace file :

It seems that ADS is not supported for our platform. There is Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 with kernel 2.6.9, 32-bit installed on the server machine. I found Product Availability Matrix and there is written this platform should be supported.

Do you have any experience or idea what to do?

I am using ALD in SAP to print static form. We have a requirement where a particular subform (Dynamic Footer) needs to be populated only at end of last page. In READY LAYOUT EVENT some calculation in javascript has been done by using method xfa.layout.relayout(); and is working fine. However on use of this METHOD a new issue has been discovered. i.e. when we use this method, internally/return parameter is coming up with 2 page where in actual page is 1. In print layout/taking print it is showing correctly but STANDARD CODE by SAP-ADOBE is returning an incorrect page count which is leading to other issues. Could anybody help on this, how to use this method in an alternate way/other way/any method to dynamically re-assign the sub form instead of the entire layout) . It is urgent and help would be really appreciated

Currently we are converting Adobe Form to PDF during run-time and sending as an email attachment. I have a requirement to make the PDF attachment as password protected before sending email. I have Adobe Life Cycle designer 9.8 installed.

Could you please advice, is this requirement possible within SAP Adobe Form? If yes kindly advice.

I am developing a Form which has both Chinese and English characters.

At run time I wan to calculate the total value of line items and also get the wordings for the same.

Suppose :

"Twenty Eight Thousand one hundred and ninety one"

The wordings part I am able to manage with the help of Formcalc "WORDNUM", but my challenge is I want this text to be in CHINESE.

Is there a way to get it done in Adobe?

I want to make the font as a BOLD in ADOBE form dynamically.

I was able to make it as BOLD but not able to make italic.

xfa.resolveNode("data.MainPage.Receipts_tax_free_2RC_1PC.Receipts_tax_free_2RC_1PC.DATA["+i+"].EXP_TYPE_NAME").font.weight = "bold";

How we can make the same as italic.

and can we make the same  BOLD + ITALIC.

I am getting an exception from ADS server when trying to render an interactive form. Any idea about the issue.

My form is having one master page and two body pages. First page is fixed and second page will flow based on number of items.

Hello Experts,

I want to embed the digital signature while generating the Adobe form.

This is server side signing and all the setting related to certificate installation is done.

I also referred the program FP_PDF_TEST_07. This example gets the generated PDF as input but my requirement is to add the digital signature while form generation.

Any help is highly appreciated.

I made a PDF form interactive and I am getting the following error when I try to click on email button. All the elements of the form are made read only. Am I missing something ?

Hello all,

if got a problem with an alternative on the second page.

I created the alternative in the context trying to catch a different situation.

within the form I created 2 subforms one for true, one for false.

on page 1 everything works as designed.

on page 2 nothing works.

it looks like the 2nd page forgot what the alternative decided.

which means its printing on the 2nd page always true.... despite if its correct or not...

can somebody help me? what am i missing?

I created a Adobe form for Korean language. During run time, the values which are fetching form MDM are coming as "?" instead of Korean Values.

Language code I used is "KO", Can some one help me to solve this issue.

we are creating a custom form and therefor got the following problem. In our datatable we have field X at first and we want at every group change of X, that the color of the data row will switch. This means like that.

How can I do that in adobe form? Is ist possible with JavaScript coding?

Maybe with the help of some new column which is set 'X' or <blank> which I can use in JavaScript?

Hello Experts,

          I will be having multiple headers and multiple items. On each page header data is displayed on the top, in the middle part some text is displayed and the  item data of each group will be displayed in the bottom. Each new group of items should start from new page. When the item doesn't fit in one page, it should overflow to next page and the corresponding header information should also be displayed with same layout. This process repeats for each group of items.

          In my case, all group items are overflown to next page perfectly but the header data is displayed only once for each new group of items. But when these group of items are overflown, header is not displayed.

I have created 2 tables. Header table and Item table. And in context node I have created Loop on header and inside that I have created loop on Item table with where condition. For each header, item group is filtered correctly.

I have created one Master page since I am having same layout on overflown page as well. On the top I have designed my header data in text labels and I have bind this to my header data.

In bottom I have the container "Cont". So this container I have designed in the Design view. The have dragged and dropped the item data in the container. The item data acts as sub form. Sub form is flowed.  Here in place "Following previous" and after "Continue Filling parent" and repeat data for each item with minimum 0 and max is blank. This data sub form is wrapped in another sub form and is bind to item table. Sub form is flowed and after overflow I have given as same container "Cont". And place I have given "On top of container "Cont"" and after "continue filling parent" and repeat data for each item with minimum 0 and max is blank.

For each new group of items new page is triggered correctly and when items don't fit on one page, those are overflown correctly but the header data is getting printed only on first page of each new group of items and not on overflown pages. 

Please help me where I am missing.

I'm struggling with one of the content alignment with Adobe forms .. If you see the below image. I have two records in VBLKP Segment and have table GT_SERNUM_EMPTY table under VBLKP. Based on the logic, 1st VBLKP has 2 rows (just 2 line as highlighted below) and 2nd VBLKP has 2 rows (just 2 line as highlighted below) .I was expecting n no. of rows of GT_SERNUM_EMPTY should be followed after each VBLKP rows. But if you see below all the GT_SERNUM_EMPTY is following right after the 1st VBLKP row, it's not splitting. Can you let me know what I'm missing here ..?

I have an Issue where in header data for the corresponding line item is not printed on the overflown page but only on the first page of that corresponding line item.

Can anyone help on this as soon as possible.

Hi,

I am working on an SAP Adobe Form.

When hiding a table column, the other columns are moving over but are not retaining their width.

Table fields being displayed are:

BUDAT

REFDOCNR

GLACCT

SGTXT

TSL

Under certain conditions table fields BUDAT and REFDOCNR will be hidden.

BUDAT has a width of .8 and REFDOCNR has a width of .85.

GLACCT has a width of .6 and SGTXT has a width of 3.2.

When BUDAT and REFDOCNR are hidden, the other three fields GLACCT, SGTXT, and TSL move over and field SGTXT is truncated from 3.2 to .85 which is the width of field REFDOCNR.

Is there a way to hide a column, have the remaining fields move over, and retain their width?
